Our Team
Chief Executive Officer
Clare Campbell is a conservation leader driven by practical impact. With a background in zoology and more than a decade at Perth Zoo, she co-founded Wildlife Asia to advance community-led protection, species recovery and landscape-scale conservation across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Myanmar and Indonesia.
KWCI Project Manager
Demelza Stokes joined Wildlife Asia in 2017 with a background in journalism and field reporting. She has coordinated complex conservation programs across Karen State and Thailand, supporting partners, donors and field teams, and now contributes remotely while leading the Pardicolor Arts Initiative.

Director
Leif Cocks, MSc, OAM, is the founder of Wildlife Conservation International, the organisation behind The Orangutan Project, International Elephant Project, International Tiger Project and Forests for People. He has devoted more than 40 years to conservation and has authored several books on conservation and philosophy. He is recognised globally for shaping conservation strategy and driving species protection.
Director
Matt Hunt has more than 25 years' experience working with wildlife, focusing the past two decades on tackling illegal wildlife trade in Southeast Asia. As CEO of Free the Bears, he leads sanctuary development, team training and public education to strengthen enforcement and long-term species protection.
Secretary
Sophie Dentrinos is an experienced zoo keeper and conservation advocate with 18 years specialising in African carnivores. Former Vice Chair of the Asian Rhino Project, she coordinates regional programs for endangered species and brings extensive expertise in animal management and threatened-species recovery.
