Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and related subscription information are managed through Mailchimp, our email communications provider.

Contacting us through our website
When you use our website contact form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message.

How we store and protect information
Personal information may be held in secure electronic systems, including our website systems, email platform, payment services and organisational records.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access to personal information is limited to people who require it for legitimate Wildlife Asia activities.
No method of transmitting or storing information electronically is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required for legal, financial, reporting or record-keeping purposes. Information that is no longer required may be securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use trusted third-party service providers to help operate our website and organisational activities. These may include providers of email communications, transactional email, website infrastructure, payment processing and related technology services.
Some of these providers, including Mailchimp, PayPal and Resend, operate internationally or may process or store information outside Australia. As a result, personal information may be processed in countries other than Australia, including the United States.
Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to ensure it is handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

At present, Wildlife Asia does not use advertising trackers or website analytics technologies that place tracking cookies on your device.
Some third-party services used by our website may process limited technical information as part of providing their services.
If we introduce analytics, advertising technologies or other forms of tracking in the future, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and any consent arrangements as appropriate.

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
Please email info@wildlifeasia.org.au. We may need to verify your identity before providing access to personal information.
In some circumstances we may be unable to provide access to particular information, including where permitted or required by law. If this occurs, we will explain the reason where appropriate.
